Today’s wonderful lady, Jenny Casey aka JC, goes way back with me. We attended the same Primary School (where JC was Head Girl), we didn’t attend the same high school and I can’t remember our paths crossing again for years (which is odd since Slummies is so tiny). With the dawn Facebook I was able to reconnect with loads of people I had lost touch with. One of my things to do in my 40’s on my list was to reconnect with an “old” friend. Jenny was that friend. After loads of chatting on Facebook we met for coffee in Cape-Town while Jenny was visiting. A quick cup of coffee turned into a 3 hour chat. We have since met a few times and I love listening to JC’s interesting travel stories and admire her determination to be taking on the Comrades. This is one lady I a am grateful to have back in my life… thank-you Facebook!
