Week-end again! Time does seem to fly the older you get! Now that life has settled into a routine my weeks seem to be consumed with work, homework, TV catch up… repeat. A groundhog day experience. It was a big week with Tayla starting varsity and Mili-Flyn playschool. I am happy to report both have slotted in really well with no tears at all from either of them. Caleb played made the A Team for cricket. He did tell Hans his specialty was fielding. Seems we might have a Jonty Rhodes on our hands.
A BIG birthday wish to our good friend Hans for today. Since he has come a mean cycling machine and he is in training for the Epic we do tend to see less of him. Although he did manage to fit us in this week for a meal at The Toad. Birthday celebrations will have to be put on hold until post ABSA Cape Epic.
Sunday we head to Newlands for the T20 final. Cobra’s take on the Dolphins. Always a great day out for the whole family.
I am probably a tad biased after seeing Bastille perform at Kirstenbosch – love, love, love. Love the new spin they have put on Rhythm of the the Night. Normally I am a firm fave of the original but in this case, Bastille wins. Enjoy it.
